It is always fun for us when couple’s pick out locations to use that are special to them. It just really makes the photo shoot unique and more meaningful! Plus we get to shoot somewhere that we haven’t used before so it’s like a little adventure :) So of course we were really excited that Molly and Ross took us to a gorgeous farm for their engagement session! This farm will also be their wedding venue, so that made it even better! We even got to look inside the gorgeous barn where their reception will be held and take a few images there. It was gorgeous as it was, and so we can’t wait to see it all decorated for the wedding in June!
Another thing that we loved about their session was how it perfectly encapsulated their relationship. They told us when we first met with them that they are very in their element outside on the farm :) Even though farm weddings are very popular now, they just wanted to be married on a farm because that is who they are! And who can blame them! This area out in the country is absolutely stunning and so relaxing. It’s such a sweet and intimate place to spend time together, and we loved being able to take their engagement pictures in that atmosphere. It was also reminiscent of Ross’ adorable proposal! After a nice dinner out, they came back home, changed into camo, and had a bonfire together and just had a personal, intimate moment before he asked her to be his wife. These two are truly precious and so in love. We’re so lucky to be able to document beautiful love stories like theirs :)
Molly and Ross, you guys were such a joy to photograph and spend time with! You braved the wind and cold and did an absolutely fantastic job :) We are counting down the days until we get to document you guys become husband and wife in June!!
